The Long House: Pull Away

In the light of the Projective Cast

The Long House is a landscape to explore the legible transfer of forces from these two precedents. I feel these drawings function as templates of fluid framework for multiple spatial definitions.

I used techniques of projection, interpolation, extrapolation and synthesis to produce final forms drawn up from out of the depths of these composite drawings. My goal is to illustrate that the ability to generate space is inexhaustible.

The fundamental architectural framework for this experiment is illustrated here. (figure 4)

The first condition a condition of 2 solid objects that coexist to create a rational space.

The second condition - a condition of 2 semi-transparent objects that coexist to create a multitude of rational spaces.

The first condition and the second condition create the Third condition. The third condition is a state of suggestion.

The Long House is an EXTRAPOLATION of the third condition.

Essentially, the Lorrenzetti analysis produces the architectural housing (The first condition) for the construct of the thesis and the Borromini analysis serves as a catalyst for spatial fluidity throughout the interior and at the transitions (The second condition).
